How Green We Are
We have recorded our total generation almost every Sunday evening since the panels went
live. When we have been away, we have averaged the numbers we do have to approximate the
numbers on the appropriate Sundays. This may be visible as flat lines in the first graph.
The largest number of watts being generated at any moment which we have observed so
far was 1724W on 16/06/07 - almost 20% more than our theoretical maximum. We generated our
first megaWatthour on 5/08/07.
Generation Week by Week
Here is a graph of our weekly output in kWhrs. The x-axis is the week number,
where week one of year one ended Sunday 3rdSep 2006. (This was actually a three
day week.) Year one is in red, year two in light blue.
Cumulative Generation over a Year
Here are the same values, but this time plotted on a cumulative basis. The blue line
for 2007/8 starts just ahead of the red line for 2006/7 because it had a full seven days of
generation in week one.
