Our Live Steam Locomotive
Over lunch on our first date...
She asked "What do you think of gardening?"
Concluding honesty was the best policy, he replied "The only thing I've ever wanted to do with a garden was put a three½ inch gauge live steam railway round it."
She asked "How big and what fuel would it burn?"
The rest is history.
This section of the website is devoted to our building of a miniature, but fully functional, steam locomotive and a driving truck.
More pages will be added as we work on each of the kits.

If you want to see the parts which come in each of the 12 kits then Polly have a
Polly III kit by kit.
(On my archaic IE5 browser I had to scroll down to the end of the LH menu to see the main text.) The main
differences between the Polly III and Polly IV are in the cab area and the side tanks replace the tender in kit 12.
